Gentry Darby holds the Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministries from Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee. Gentry has a heart for ministries to teens, families, and community service. He comes to Buford Church of God after completing his term of service with AmeriCorps. The experiences gained from serving with AmeriCorps, has also given him the opportunity to place Hurricane Katrina evacuees into permanent housing through the United Way. For the past 2 1/2 years Gentry has taught his students to rely on the power of God who is “bigger than any of our small problems.”

Heather holds the Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Georgia. Heather is excited about the opportunity to help the growth of the teenage girls. Her compassion for people is shown through her caring heart and her kind words. Together Gentry and Heather seek to bring the presence of God to the students, and show the presence of God to the community through acts of kindness.
